WHAT TO EXPECT
DURING YOUR VISIT:
Arrival & Service Duration
We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment in order to fill out a brief intake and consult with our staff regarding your massage needs and preferences. Massage Emporium appointments will last the full duration of your scheduled time unless you arrive late for your appointment.
Eating and Drinking
Try not to eat for at least an hour before a treatment, and avoid the consumption of alcohol on the day of a treatment. Drink plenty of water before and after your treatment.
We have both male and female therapists available for most of your services. If you have a preference, please let us know when making your appointment.
Room and Clothing Etiquette
For your massage session you will be under the sheets and blanket on the massage table and professionally draped at all times. Undressing to your comfort ability is best, and most people do prefer to leave their under wear on. It is recommended that some massage and/or body treatments be experienced without clothing. Please know our therapists are highly trained and professional and will ensure that your comfort and privacy will always be respected. Therapists will leave the room while you dress and un-dress. Please Keep conversation light and conversations at a low volume in the massage rooms and lobby area to insure the utmost relaxation for yourself and other guests.
All aspects of your massage session can be modified to your taste: amount of light, music selection and volume, room temperature, talking or no talking. If you would like for the pressure of your massage to be adjusted, let your therapist know. A light oil or lotion will be used for your massage so please inform therapist of any skin allergies. Also, feel free to ask questions. If any part of your experience is unsatisfactory, first tell the therapist. If the response isn't helpful, speak to a front desk manager or the owner, if available.
Because your appointment is reserved just for you, should you need to reschedule or cancel we ask you to contact us at least 6 hours prior to your appointment time order to avoid a full charge for the value of your services. Appointments made the same day will require a 2 hour notice of cancellation. If your schedule is unpredictable and you prefer not to commit to an appointment, we do welcome walk-in clients. A quick phone call before you come in will let you know availability, although it cannot be guaranteed without booking.
If you have any special health considerations/accidents or injuries, please be sure to communicate those to our staff. And please update your medical information often so we may offer guidance as to which treatments will be most beneficial and those that should be avoided. A brief, confidential health questionnaire is required for massage services.

As a courtesy to all guests, we ask that you kindly deactivate your devices to ensure tranquility and quiet. Cell phone use is prohibited in treatment rooms and the lobby area.

AFTER YOUR VISIT:
We advise you to drink lots of water after a massage session, your body and skin need minerals to replenish and energize the cells. Drinking water will assist the body in the elimination of toxins through a flushing action within the lymphatic system. Warm mineral baths often help with this elimination of toxins as well and is recommend especially after any deep tissue session. This in turn relieves sore muscles and restores your body’s natural balance. It is recommended that strenuous activity be kept limited after a massage. So skip that run or work out after your appointment and enjoy the healing of your massage!
